FAQs: Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence & Stalking

updated: 06-2021

A year into the implementation of the VAWA Amendments to the Clery Act, institutions are examining their work in primary prevention, awareness campaign creation and disciplinary processes for the crimes of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.

This webinar addresses how these requirements intersect with Title IX, guiding practices for designing a user friendly and comprehensive written notification, tips for creating inclusive and representative bystander intervention programs, and revisiting what risk reduction means as defined in the Clery Act. Participants will walk away with tangible action items to address these frequent areas of concern and enhance their work against sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.
