Well the weather reports were predicting a good day to head out offshore but boy were they wrong! Once we go out there it really picked up but we decided to fish either way. We managed to find some fish early on with a fair amount on the sounder. Dropping directly onto the fishes head saw Peter hooked up on a jig with his new Daiwa Lexa 300 reel he purchased from us. After getting some Dhus and a sambo we spent the rest of the day looking and fishing new spots but due to the northerly wind it was very quiet. With the Demersal ban fast approaching we will now turn our focus to species we are still allowed to target.
