Planting radish, parship and spring onions

Although all my main beds are now full and cropping well, if I want to be in surplus in a couple of months time as well I need to sacrifice a few plants now to create new planting space. As these plants have fed us for the last two months, we’ve had more than our money’s worth out of them, but it’s always sad to pull up plants, rather than pick their leaves! We don’t eat a lot of parsnip, so I’ve only put in about 40 seeds, to be thinned down to 16 plants, one a week over winter. Radish and spring onions are a different story, we can’t grow enough of them, for us and our friends and neighbours.
